5 Days Imperial Cities Tour Casablanca, Rabat, Fes & Meknes 

Your imperial cities tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Casablanca or the airport. We’ll start with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. Enjoy the stunning coastal views before we drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. In Rabat, we’ll visit the Royal Palace (exterior only), the Hassan Tower, and the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Explore the charming blue and white streets of the kasbah and enjoy the panoramic views. Check into your hotel in Rabat and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Rabat.

After breakfast, we depart for Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the historical sites including the impressive Bab Mansour gate, one of the finest gates in Morocco. Visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, the Royal Stables, and the Sahrij Swani used for irrigation and water storage. After lunch in Meknes, we continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the well-preserved archaeological site with its beautiful mosaics, basilica, and triumphal arch. In the late afternoon, we drive to Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s most fascinating imperial cities. Explore the medieval medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world’s largest living medieval cities. Visit the famous Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the traditional tanneries where leather is still produced using ancient methods. Wander through the colorful souks, where you can purchase local crafts and spices. Visit the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant in the medina. In the afternoon, visit the pottery cooperative to see how traditional ceramics are made. Enjoy free time in the late afternoon to explore on your own or relax at your riad. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Casablanca. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Moroccan countryside. Upon arrival in Casablanca, you’ll have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploration. You may choose to visit the Morocco Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in Africa, or enjoy a stroll along the Corniche with its beachfront restaurants and cafes. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant (optional, not included in the package). Overnight in Casablanca.

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy some free time depending on your departure schedule. You may choose to do some last-minute souvenir shopping or visit any sites you may have missed upon arrival. Depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to Mohammed V International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your 5-day imperial cities tour of Morocco.
